OpenClaw Setup End-to-End: From Pairing to First Automation

A reliable OpenClaw rollout starts with stable gateway configuration, verified node pairing, and one repeatable smoke flow.
1) Confirm gateway health first
Use gateway status checks before pairing devices. Fix network and auth issues early so downstream automation is deterministic.
2) Pair nodes with explicit permission checks
Validate camera, screen, and notification permissions right after pairing. Missing permissions are the most common cause of flaky demos.
3) Lock in a first automation path
Start with a simple capture and notify workflow, then expand to browser actions and session orchestration only after the baseline flow is stable.
